He sees her in a completely different way
All of a sudden she's no longer that 7 year old girl-
He used to fight over a bag of chips with
She's now all grown up, her body is shaped

How come he never noticed this before?
He just did not see what was in front of his eyes
Now, that he has finally admitted that he loves her
It was a little too late for he had already broken her heart

He was always on her mind, he had captured her soul
With one single smile he took her breath away
He was her best friend since the day she was born
She just could not stop loving him even when she tried

She poured her heart out to her one and only
Hoping that deep inside he feels the same way
He broke her heart into a million pieces
He told her how sorry he was, but what good will that do?

A year after that he lays on his bed thinking of her
He has never succeeded in getting her out of his head
She left him a long time ago and he misses her so much
She took his heart with her and she never came back

She's over him now; she stopped crying herself to sleep
She found a guy that truly loves her and she feels the same way
It's too bad he did not realize how perfect she was before
He now regrets everything, but what will regret do?
