Daddy's Kisses

by xoxShorteexox   Sep 26, 2007

Daddy's kisses use to cure every bruise and cut,
They use to make the pain just disappear,
Now I'm sixteen and the heartaches just keep coming,
His kisses cannot heal these open wounds and scars.

Daddy's kisses use to solve every problem,
They use to make everything seem so simple,
Now I'm twenty-four and the divorce is finalized,
His kisses cannot stop the tears nor the pain.

Daddy's kisses use to change my whole world,
They use to fight away every nightmare,
Now I'm thirty-three and taking care of him,
His lips are so old and aged; so different than before.

Daddy's in the grave along with his kisses,
That once changed my whole life,
Now I'm thirty-six and I don't know how I'll live without,
Good-bye Daddy and good-bye to your kisses.
