Questions crossing my mind

Is love something real and what it really means?
I don't know how it feels so I need a proof to believe

If love does exist then what can it really do?
I heard many rumors but I need to check if they are true

Can love really make you fall in your knees?
Can love really make you cut and bleed?
Can love really make you cry after a smile?
Can it really kill you with a word of goodbye?

If it's true then why do people fall in love?
Why do people call it a gift from above?
I kept thinking that love is a horrible tool
People use it to punish others, love is cruel

But I also heard other rumors too
That love is so beautiful and pure
Love is more safe and secure
It just needs trust and understanding to endure
and for those who have sickness in their hearts love is the cure

Love can restore your life and give you wings to fly
Love can make two souls combine and change "his" into "mine"
Love can give you a small heaven on the earth
And can let you give a new date of birth!!

Now I am confused which team should I believe?
Who told me the truth and who deceived?

I think Iwill leave it to time until I find my love
and once I find it I will see by myself what it does

    And trust me, when you are in love it is a great and wonderful thing. And yes it can hurt but it can make you stronger in many ways. But don't get confused with other kind of levels of love that are out there in the big scary yet wonderful world....

    I don't know why people keep try to describ love. If you are in love no matter you get sorrow or happiness, heaven/hell. If you are in love you have to accept both. in the way of love you will get flowers and throun and you have to walk both of them. If you can't do this, please don't fall in love.

    That poem is so true both sides are right you just need to be really careful with your feelings tho dont leave them hangin on the line just to have the bad side of love destroy your heart coz once its shattered you cant glue it back together in just a couple of days... it takes longer... i should know.

    Amazing !! Great poem, every single word you wrote was just perfect.

    And love is all that, it is the magic but also the heartache.
    It can make you "fall to your knees and cry" but at the same time "restore your life and give you wings to fly".
    People also cant help falling in love it just happens, its incontrollable.

    Anyway its a beautiful piece def. one of my favorites. Great writing, wish you the best.
