Forgotten

Waiting at the window
With the phone at my side
I see faces pass by
Never alone and with smiles

I'm forced again into my world
The cinema of my past
Similar to the smiles outside
Old joy has faded fast

Sitting on the windowsill
Only the wind to comfort me
Hearing the whispers of the earth
Still make me feel lonely

Reluctant to live
While the days pass me by
Still I have hope
Always looking to the sky

The still night mist
Rests upon me on the grass
Quiet murmurs among the trees
As I gaze upon the stars

Another day has passed
Another week; A month
Haven't seen a single smile
A simple "Hi" from anyone

To feel like which i watch;
A star miles from anything
Unreachable from anyone
So lonely is this dream

I close my eyes and feel
The serenity of the world
I wish to be held and loved
By someone not need be told

Yet to wish and to dream
Don't always reach reality
At the end of the day
Everyone has forgotten me
