Lost Children

Little girl you cry there's something wrong
I look around and you're alone
Your mom's not there and your daddy too
I wonder what will become of you

Little boy you steal just for a bite
Dark alleyways where you will fight
No place to go no shirt or shoes
I wonder what will become of you

Our children cry but do we hear
They are so alone but we are near
God sees it all and he cries too
He wonders what we are going to do

He gives a child for us to love
They are all gifts from Heaven above
But some get lost along the way
They need our help what do you say

Little girl don't cry little boy don't steal
Someone will come your hearts to heal
Stay safe until then so sad and small
Lord hold them close and bless them all

    The Invisible

    Thank you sir for hearing my cries
    Believe me when I say I truly tried
    To drown out the world with my heartfelt tears
    It's hard to survive when no one hears

    Had I someone to feed me I would not steal
    I wouldn't have cuts waiting to heal
    I wouldn't draw away when someone nears
    Its hard to survive when no one cares

    Thanks for seeing us when no one else could
    Thanks for praying when no one else would
    But together we stand and face our fears
    Wipe away the remnants of our fallen tears

    The poor with the poor, the lost with the lost
    We'll survive together no matter the cost
    The Lord will help and guide us all
    Together we stand, divided we fall
