Made my world stand still in the storm
Made my hateful feelings towards you transform
Played Baseball,man-you had it all
Got ourselves into trouble impossible to cover
Somehow,we always also got out
Had the best time of my life
with you as my best friend
never leaving my side
Then high school came
as did the real thing-impressing people just to fit in
But I thought we would pull through
As it had been before
side by side, we'll make it past the door
Then I noticed something different
Something wrong,as I headed out of class
You weren't at my side, you were missing
Now everything's changed
And against you-I have to cover my a*s
I walk alone in the halls
But anymore if you were with me
I wouldn't notice,because the guy I knew left
From real to male prep
It's so unbelievable how much you have changed
Turned into a di*k,everyone noticed it
But hey,you're still "cool"
Your new personality rhymes with your name

It's really sad how high school can change people, sometimes for the worst. But I guess if it was meant to be... maybe someday he will realize what he did. Nicely written!
