You Let Me Go Too

Silver blade cutters;
Bloodshot red eyes;
She gives up && she utters
"You're one of them-- full of lies"

She should've known from the start;
He's just like them too--
He'd break her bleeding heart;
She should've known the real who.

He was not really different;
She shouldn't have let him win the game;
What can she do? She's naive && innocent;
All boys are the same!

She knows she'll be okay when he's gone;
She knows it. Don't worry.
When he leaves, like him-- she's done;
&& he doesn't have to say his sorry.

"It's his loss for letting you go,"
That's what he used to tell her.
"You are special, he just didn't know,
But if you were mine, you'll see, your life would be better"

But the silver blade cutters are rusting
&& my eyes are still bloodshot red;
My skin && the cutters are kissing,
As I mumble, "Actually, I'm better off dead."
