The Lion King

The Lion King

Your jungle is the city streets
And your pray are those lonesome girls
Begging for you to take their pain away
Hoping you'll be the one that won't hurt them

Your game is to sneak up slow
Take your time, and make sure they see you
And when you have them in your arms
Your game, is not a game at all

Slowly you tear them apart
Make sure they feel every last second
You play with their heart, but never get lost
For your are the lion king

Your eyes tell them that you theirs
And they don't see the hundreds before
You've done it more then once or twice
And they never knew of the other girl

You are the lion king
Prowling through the city streets
And when you get them in your arms
You will surely tear their heart in three

I never read a poem about players that was as good as yours, all the poems that are about them are so mixed up, like the poet wants to express her feelings through words but you dont really understand anything cause she's kind of rambling, saying the same thing over and over again.
I like that you used the lion, it opens the door of imagination..
