Fighting My Way Out

by Alyssa Lauren LaVelle   Nov 27, 2007

I hung myself
with barbed wire
two strikes and Im out
I died for you
bloody face
and crying eyes
hanging onto truths
wrapped up in lies
without you
something isnt right
so Im swinging high
above the ground
my lips are blue
I make not a sound
mind over matter
and matter over mind
I looked for answers
and what did I find
but a broken heart
and half a life
the story of me
as I swing from
a noose of barbed wire.
