Empty Womb

by AmberSherrellxxIve Been Sitting Here Trying To Find Myselfxx   Dec 15, 2007

Changed plans
Twisted dreams
Happy smile
So it seems

Keep him happy
Hurt yourself
He only matters
No one else

Transform your plans
Chage your life
Do what he says
Refuse to fight

He treats you like this
Because he can
What do you expect?
He's a man

He makes you happy
Then makes you cry
You try to hold on
But inside you die

You wear his ring
Upon your hand
You try to explain
But he doesn't understand

You take the test
It reads no
You close your eyes
As tears start to show

Fighting your pain
Your stomach you touch
There's nothing there
But it wanted it much

There's no baby now
Or anytime soon
You're left with a broken heart
And an empty womb

I liked this piece because it had so much truth written in it. You wrote about something that effects many teen girlsin society these days. The flow I like you have a great flow within your poems it's really smoothe and makes the poem finish quick. The short lines you use are effective and strong. Full of sad emotions. Well done. ~Mel
