A letter to depression

Dear Depression

I ask you to please listen to my suicidal cry
The cry of asking you to watch as I slowly die

You have torn me apart
You have ruined everything and everyone i had in my heart

You just wait until i am down
And in my feelings then, you make me drown

Never again shall i have this life you have taken away
never again will i live another day

You have taken anothers life
Yet never picking up a gun or knife

You have gotten inside my head
You made me depressed until i killed myself and am dead

    I have suffered from depression since I was parted from my true love, in and out of treatment and on medication till its coming out of my ears, there is hope my love. There is light at the end of the tunnel we are back together after 35 years.

    Your poem is very evoking and well written keep it up if only to vent your frustration. Well done you are very talented.
