West Texas Sky

West Texas Sky

The west Texas sky has,
So much to hold,
Things to be seen,
Near and far.

So come along with a journey,
Never forgotten,
There are so many things to journey through,
In a west Texas sky.

Dark midnight colored clouds,
Come rumbling in,
From the west Texas sky,
There they come dancing in
Feel the rain fall,
From an endless sky.

The sun shines brightly,
Dancing with the shadows,
You can run and hide,
But the sun will always,
Find a way to you and,
Forever be the light.

Look at the meadows,
So violently tall,
Blowing in the wind,
Bending at its tails,
Wide and far,
The golden meadows seem to be.

The wind that breezes through,
Blows that flag like it`s nothing,
It carries a sweet, sweet smell,
The wind always seems to have,
A cool touch to the skin and,
A flow in your hair.

The sky carries a rainbow of colors,
When the morning sun comes up,
A deep blue ocean sky,
Carries the creatures in the sky,
Colors of red, orange, yellow touch the sky,
When the sun goes down past the pastures.

You see the wonders and,
You see the colors,
I`ve shown you everything,
Of a life I live,
Still wishing I could see the,
West Texas Sky.

This is very well written just one thing, the line

    "Near and far"

would flow better if it said far and wide in my opinion but still very beautiful... 5/5
