Your Apathy, My Life

by David Marshall   Jan 8, 2008

Watch as I fall,
Upon all mercy,
Upon all grace.

Watch as I fall,
Right in front of you,
in front of your face.

Watch as I fall,
and break my will,
Crush my hope.

Watch as I fall,
you pour your apathy,
as I lay and mope.

Watch as I fall,
Take a good look,
See what I've become.

Watch as I fall,
My life drifts away,
My body so numb.

Watch as I fall,
You'll watch me die,
You'll see emptiness in my eyes.

Watch as I fall,
It's the most you'll ever do,
I fall and fall, But you never hear my cries.
