Used Soul For Sale

A blank canvas lies within my inner being.
Untouched, not a single drop of ink is seen.
Out of all the others, you have chosen me,
To help at times of need.

Scribbling frantically, I'm your venting board.
Sounding off you hope for some miracle cure,
To the unanswered questions of an uneased heart,
Unknowingly erasing all the words I try to start.

Finally conclusions are reached, I've served my purpose.
Spirits now lifted, you look upon my worn out surface,
Without another thought you toss me to the cold floor.
Like some trash you'd rather ignore.

Now a recycled canvas, slightly used.
Placed on a shelf for the next round of abuse.
My soul lies in waiting for that fateful day,
When life has been cruel to you once again.

    Perfecty and beautifully written!!! I really loved the vocabulary and voice of this poem. I think that emotion was really shown greatly and the way that the flow came naturally...PERFECT. The stanza I liked the best was definately the last one. Another great feature is the fact that you started off by grabbing my attention, and you gave a conclusion that just makes me wanna read more!     Wow...
    This is truly amazing. I like it from the beginning to the end. The emotions are expressed excellently, whole poem is filled with raw, overwhelming sadness and pain. I can relate to this piece in a way. Your metaphors are really interesting and good. All descriptions are so vivid, and the imagery simply sings sorrow from the beginning to the end.
