Her wish

by XxToWriteLoveOnHerWristxX   Jan 16, 2008

Long flawless hair
beautifully marked face
looking at her silhouette
his heart begins to race

the sun starts to set
her face palely glowing
her hair starts to fly
as the wind starts blowing

her lithe body
her small frame
she waited for love
but it never came

the paragraphs above
were nothing but lies
she could only wish
he saw her from those eyes..

Wow talk about surprising twist! Beautiful, sad poem. I loved it. It started off strong and finished off powerful. The words chosen were beautiful and elegant and the whole poem was a wonderful piece. This one was my favorite of yours I've read so far. 5/5

I really like this one. The twist at the end was brilliant! The flow was great, the word choice couldn't have been better, and the concept was clever. Great write! 5/5
