My definition of a woman.....
I've read alot of poems about women who think they are not worthy. I've read alot of poems about women who think they can't do better than one guy. I've read alot of poems about women who are loosing they're best guy friends. I've read them all.
WELL LADIES I'M HERE TO TELL YOU.........
We don't need a man to make us happy, we don't need a man to make us smile. We don't need a man to control us, we don't need a man who won't trust us. We don't need a man to use us. We don't need a man to abuse us. We don't need a man that cheats. We don't need a man that lies. We don't need a man to break promises. WE DON'T NEED A MAN!
Alot of you are wondering...."what in God's sweet name is this 17 year old girl talkin about, she hasn't experienced 'true' love yet!" ....i'm just gonna tell you straight. I've been in love before. I know what it feels like to have the butterflies in my stomach. I know what it's like to not be able to eat or sleep. AND YOU WANNA KNOW HOW I KNOW IT WAS TRUE LOVE???? I got my heart broke! The reason i say this is because, when one is in love with another, one is always in jeopardy of getting their heart broke. When one is not in love, however, the heart was never there to break. So yes, i've been in love.
Now for the women that have been abused. Girls let me tell you...that ain't a walk in the park. Again you're thinking "She's really lost it, she don't know a thing about getting abused!" Honestly...it's happened. I've been physically abused and mentally abused. Physically because he had me pinned on the floor and busted my nose telling me that he was gonna rape me(yet he never did because i broke his nose and left...seriously). Emotionally because he made me feel like a worthless piece of crap. Plain and simple. So yes, i've been abused.
For the women that their best friend that just so happens to be a guy....i'll give you my advice on this as well. I'm going through the same thing right now. My best friend of 7 years has just decided that he likes this new girl and he wants to devote all his attention to her. Considering her situation, i understand. But now....it's got to where, he doesn't call just to say hey, he doesn't come hang out and play guitar like we used to, he doesn't text me unless he needs my advice. I'm gonna tell ya, guys like this have some priority issues. He's still a lil immature because of his age although he is older than me by 4 months. He will soon realize that i have been here through everything and i'm the one that stood by his side dodging the knives that people were throwing at his back. All men, boys, guys, jerks...whomever....they will see it.
So girls, dry up them tears and get out there and find you a guy that don't make you cry. A little quote i always like to refer back to is, "guys aren't worth your tears, because the one who is...he will never make you cry." Remember that. I'm hoping this has touched someone and people actually took the time to read this.
