Revolution

by Beautiful Forever   Feb 3, 2008

Dream a dream,
Laugh a laugh,
Scream a scream,
Overlook the aftermath,

Run around, give a smile,
Far away from the pain,
Run every step of the mile,
As if theres something to gain,

The pain will try to follow,
But it can't stay by your side,
With every breath you swallow,
You run away from those who've lied,

But running won't fix it, no,
It's just a temporary solution,
You have to be free, let go,
And start your own revolution,

A revolution of your new heart,
A heart without pain, or sadness,
Wishing you knew from the start,
To prevent this on-coming madness,

Then life takes your hand,
And your body burns with passion,
Your mind comes to finally understand,
As the pain from yesterday's ashen.
