Days of hope

by JEFF   Feb 6, 2008

Days full of dreams,
Cities full of screams.
Pain we can not hide,
We keep fear bottled up
deep inside.

Reflections of the past,
People we remember last.
Some we hold dear,
Others seem to just
disappear.

Longing to just live each day,
Without hurt
I must pray.
Without crimes
without sin,
Searching for a new day
so let us begin.

People full of joy and hope,
Finding theres no more pain,
As we reach the end of the rope.

Looking at each other with
a smile
a grin,
Knowing that the streets
are no longer filled
with sin.

Well written. The truth amongst your words were so strong in the points made across it.

    "Other seem to just
    disappear"

    So true.
