I hear the storm breaking out
A fierce sea of cries...
Oh safety pin, oh safety pin
you tiny little thing...
A searing twinge of reckless hate
Pierces through her brain...
You made me laugh when I cried so hard
You gave me bracelets to cover my scars...
I couldn't stop it
I was drowning in the urge...
We amble along beneath the trees
Across my face blows a gentle breeze...
An angel came down from heaven
with all the love she sends...
Nobody noticed the pretty girl
alone in the corner...
Little miss perfect skips through the trees
Daisies and bluebells brush past her knees...
Standing on the edge of the bridge
Looking down on the track...
I'm trying this for you
Oh I'm trying so hard...
(I wrote this poem about 4 yrs ago, about the lake...
The sun shone through the light spring rain...
