The God who became me!

The God who became me!

God had a big problem, his own words had condemned the entire human race, the Angels mourned, they had reasoned that even God could not this problem erase.

Adam did not feel my jab when I took his rib, a woman to him I would give, bone of his bone she would be, the glory of a man revealed in a she, a perfect gift from me.

His face did beam, he called her Eve, his Queen.
The Honeymoon did not last long after Satan sang his bewitching song. When they sinned each one blamed the other, fig leaves were used but their nakedness they could not cover.

The Lord spoke and the Heaven's did shake, he said; I will stand their place, my own punishment for sin I will take, I will make the guilty ones totally innocent for my names sake.

I will become a man and live among them in their own land, I will bring honor back to women, a virgin maid will my Angel call, who am I lord she will say, when Joseph finds out he will put me away, fear not I replied, I told him to take you as his Bride.

I made those in authority send you to Bethlehem, to the Inn you both did arrive but nowhere to stay. To your surprise I was born in the hay, not the ordinary way, my coming to rule the Earth as it's King was for another day. For now, the Cross looms before me, sin's ransom has to be paid and I will rise again from death's tomb where I was laid.

My Salvation plan I had hidden from the Angels was from all eternity, my only Son did choose to lay aside his equality with me as one. My Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary the Maid, my Son was given to the land, with her conception, no man had a part, it all began through my love from the start.

Remember that I have dwelt from Eternity and outside of Time, it was there that I choose the many to be mine. When my Son turned the water into wine, I told him now is the time for his Ministry to begin, he knew that he was the Lamb to be offered for Sin. When I was baptized by John and went under and arose from the water, the people murmured, some were hissing. I spoke like thunder; this is my beloved Son, only him you are to listen.

My Son Jesus carried out the work I had given him, I told him to save his people from their sin, not many rich or wise but those in the world that were despised. His heart was broken by his last words spoken, at that Last Supper held in the room upper he revealed his coming death on the cross assuring them it was not a loss but a payment for sin at such a great *cost.

* You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, John 5:39 NIV.

Truly, Love was when God became a man, exactly like us but without sin. A substitute for us, the just dying for the unjust this was the only payment to satisfy the wrath and righteousness of God the Father. Jesus acknowledged that because God created us we are god's, he had said to those who accused him of making himself to be a god; He said it is written that mankind were gods.

You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High. ... Psalm 82:6 NIV. (Both men and women)

    Ken,
Wonderful verse here, with your usual detailed storytelling and rhyme that I certainly learnt something from, as I'm sure others will too.

Well done and all the best,
