My lady, she calls me

by Ingrid   Mar 31, 2008

Every day
I visit her,
curious to see
what mood
she is in today.

It does not matter
how I find her,
tranquil or
roaring with passion.
I love all her faces.

She calls me near
and
as I dive into
her salty wetness
I realize
my love for her
grows
day by day.

She embraces me
with all she's got
Lifts me up
and leaves me
floating
in complete ecstasy.

How I love her....
my lady,
the sea.

This is a great little poem! Personifying the sea was a really effective idea. I particularly love the fact that you go daily to check her moods. Lovely! 5/5 from me!
