The Angel and The Mermaid.

The Angel,
Personally carved by Gods hands

A Guardian,
Created to protect the true and the innocent

To deliver answers to those who pray their prayers..

Born with feathered wings,
Unique he is..

From the day he learned to fly,
He began his quest,
His search..

The Mermaid,
So truly beautiful and a secret to spying eyes..

She swims to the surface,
And lays upon the rocks

Forever calming the wind and the waves..

Watching the clouds overpass from above,
And singing with her enchanting voice..

Always singing..

Singing a song of love..

The Gods parts them both,
Yet Nature gives them a wish..

When the night rises and the sun falls,
Time is granted to these two sorrow souls..

They are granted a moment in time..

Baring their eyes into each other,
Wrapping their arms upon one another..

Intending never to let go,
Intending their love shall live forever more..

The sands of time slowly slip away..

Tears begin to run in their eyes,
And they begin to lose grip..

The time granted was near to its end,
Took more quickly than it was given..

Reaching their arms out as they are parted from one another,
They say one last thing..

I shall keep searching.. (Angel)

I shall keep singing.. (Mermaid)
