Death Circle (Tanka)

In necropolis
Praying, breathing, smiling
Awaiting my wings
To fly on the other side
Just to return underground

I don't think I like this one. Not because it's not good but because it doesn't fit you. You come with such love and happiness that it's difficult to see you writing such a sad piece :[ hope you're okay Or I'm coming over there to beat someone up for you with my lucky bag of skittles. Anywho next work :] Nik

Nitin, you really had a different take on the Tanka then most everyone and that's one reason I really liked yours. The emotion in your is strong whereas the others were more dependent on images. This is not to say you didn't have imagery. Anyway I am glad that you took part in the contest and I hope you will again in the future!

All in all, wonderfully written Tanka with quality that is considerable. I hope to see you try this form in the future! :] I loved each word of your poem! Great job and keep writing! :]

Good job Nitin with the form. Reminds me of a dragon fly.
