Kingdom of Purpleyellowbluegreenpinkblackgrayredorange Me

by Sunshine   Aug 25, 2012

My dreams get better at the end
but first let's imagine a glass house,
with a pond of light
that's not so faraway...

I dream of crystal shoes
and dresses of illuminating white.
Those huge ones that wrap
each beautiful inch-
of unreal Cinderellas.

Fields of green light,
of red fat lemons,
dark round strawberries,
orange figs, and ice purple trees.
That can never fit with each other.

Also think of a gigantic rainbow,
that bonds my colors from
pole to pole,
with a huge peach dangling
from the middle of that
orange bow.
It could also be the sun...?

I dream of a big big,
clean clear colorless rivers,
with bright flowerbeds underneath.

Two green moons,
a silver sky at night
pink clouds of winter,
and awesome
singing white elephants;
they all fit with gray.

One yellow cow,
two black sheep,
a red chicken,
and blue bears.

I dream, well I dream
of nothing more,
nothing less
than boundless gardens
glowing with colorful flowers,
well also blue fruits surrounding
tall trees of pink;
or perhaps of
a single magic stick...

My first thought... your dreams are so colorful!!

a yellow cow? a blue bear? and here I was wondering if the colors have any meaning or if they have any simbolism, but the more I think about it, the more I feel that the colors are simply use as happiness. As a better world where things are different and it won't matter the color that each thing has. Even if they sound strange.. I mean we are used to things being one way, but I thought that in your dreams it won't matter if things are different as long as the things that should be right stay as right.. for instance the color of the rivers should be clean clear.. in reality but also in your dreams. The color of the cow? well, it won't matter much as long is healthy. And the magic stick.. it made me wonder if that's where all of it came from.. your mind being the magic stick.

So colorful, I also noticed the ice trees.

That's a really good poem. The imagery itself is one of a kind. You have a great sense of dreaming =)

"I dream of a big big,
    clean clear colorless rivers,"

I think you should eliminate the "a" before big, though :)

    Lovely piece of art!

Haha. I adore Abed. Really, yeah, this just reminded me of the songs he mentioned. Just at first. I went singing 'pos l wawa laiko l wawa' haha.
But then again, when looking more deeply into the imagery, I felt that it's actually not only a cutie Nana piece, it's a dream by all means.

I loved the animals bit the most, it made me chuckle. I once painted something crazy like that. Don't know if I uploaded it on FB, but you gotta see it. Oh and I painted Larry.
    : )

Anyway, I know I talk too much and lose the point. Thamalini hal fatra, haha.
Loved this poem, the colours, the title. Love you.
