My Dear Ash, The Beautiful Queen

Dedicated to Ash, who is so beautiful and perfect in her own way, family to me and someone I look up to, thank you for everything Ash :)!!!

I joined this site without knowing myself
Without knowing what it was like to be tough
Brave
Or strong
Never enough strength to break my own heart
For the sake of others
But thanks to my beloved Ash
The Queen of all
I learned this
And more

You go by many names
Thankfulness remains
For all of them
They have saved me
Spoken honestly
Wisely
Offered advice
And talked to mw like no one has

You have been here for me
A strong guardian over me
A hand that has protected me
Never let me fall
Helped to built up my walls
Gave me someone to trust
Somewhere to call home
To set my worried free
Lay down my weary heart
And be fearful not
Thank you for all this
And more still

I write this poem from my heart
Meaning each and every part
Speaking with the meaning
Of a thankfulness that could never die
I can't hide a thing from you
And I can never lie to you
I thank God for you
And thank Jesus for you too
They holy spirit for guiding me to you

You are so beautiful
So special to me
Important to my days
A joy in every way
Each of your personalities carries beauty
As beautiful as your face
As you are
And always have been
As beautiful as a Queen
Sitting where she can see us all
And watching over us
By our side
Here for us
Protecting us
Saving us
Looking out for us

You are the Mother of my Mother Sarah
I am lucky to have you in my life
Never have I doubted that
I'm so glad whenever we talk
So touched I'm still in your life
You've been with me since the beginning
Since soon after I first joined this site
First submitted my poetry
And stopped being afraid of what others would say
Learned to be my self
And how to take care of me
Not let others push me around
But to stand strong

I never used to stand strong at all
So easily I would fall
With out the ability to lean on my self as a shield
To smile without the fakeness
I used to have
You changed the plastic parts of my smile
To ice that helps us grow
Taught me how to look to my friends
And see what will be the best
You have toughened me up
So I can survive by myself
You have brought us up like a Mother

You have always listened to me
When few would
Toughed my lips
And armored my wounds
Kept me save in a shelter
You built all by yourself
Made from your love
And nothing else
Been our save horizon
The glove when we fall
The one who stands up for us
When someone has taken it all
The peacemaker
The golden helper
The golden friend
My grandmother

You have held me up
At times others couldn't
And saved me from myself
You have looked out for me
Helped make me free
From burdens that kept me
You saved me time and time again
Got into my heart
Unchained the box that kept it
Thank you

How lovely life is
You have showed me
Meant to grasp for eternity
You have been here for me
Always helping me
You put me first
I have been so lucky
Blessed by thy God
To have you in my life
So loyal to your friends
You are a true friend
A Queen of us!!!
