See the Wind, My Love

by Larry Chamberlin   Feb 16, 2016

If you could see the wind
you would find my love
breezing in the currents
that surround you every moment

If you could hear the sunshine
you would skip to the strains
of heartfelt warmth abiding
throughout the days

If you could feel colors
your skin would be caressed
in wild mosaics by day
and soothed in orange at night

If you could sense my thoughts
you would know how much
I would give away for you
and you'd make me keep it safe
...
in your heart.

Actually changed it From "your" to reaffirm the action of the wind.

I like the tone of this write, there is warmth and there is truth. No fancy words or over the roof sort of thing but an honest tender and heartfelt write for the one you love.

The smooth flow makes it an effortless read and what I like the most about it is that you have associated each aspect of nature to your love..nicely written.

Love the flow in this, Larry! Beautiful work. That idea of wanting to keep your love safe, and how much you mean to this person...

    Just beautiful!
