THE SEASON OF THE FLY

THE SEASON OF THE FLY

Have you ever gazed into their complex eye, do they see hundreds of us and hum yum! They from far away can smell us, they even bug us when on the Bus, when your steak is on the plate, patiently they wait. You for a moment turn away your glance and on your meat, they all dance. My laughter has turned to rage, how can I escape this winged menace, or do I have to eat in a cage?

No matter where you go whether near or far you will still find them raiding your favorite cookie jar! They especially love soup, you see one there and when the Waiter is told his head will droop, you say; forget the apple pie with the extra scoop.

I know the Lord made them for a reason, they are a link in the food chain of birds and insects, but in my frustration, I think; is this as good as it gets?
