A Week in the life

by Mark Rawlins   Jul 5, 2017

Monday morning,
Car won't start,
Verbal warning,
Heart to heart.

Bury the news day,
Every Tuesday.
Win or lose, hey?
That's what you say.

Wednesday's rain,
Don't be a jerk, and
Don't complain,
Just get to work.

Thursday night,
For all you're able,
World to rights and
Turn the table.

Hey day, high day,
My day, Friday.
Do day, die day,
Sob and cry day.

Hip hip cheer,
Let's have some beer.
Yes, yes, my dear,
Saturday's here.

Mundane Sunday,
It's no fun day,
Boring but
Tomorrow's Monday.

Monday morning,
Car won't start ..............

Waahhhh...this is very cool and very relatable. A never-ending process, isn't it? Love the title and everything about this poem! Great job! Glad that it's nominated, it's fantastic.

This is my week summed up every f.....g week lol had to nominate because it's upbeat and Definitely relatable though the car not starting isn't for me as I don't drive but riding a bike can be a pain when you realise you have a puncture like 5 mins before heading off!!

Edit: got me singing tell me why I don't like Mondays lol
