Piece of Heart

by Guilty By Design   Sep 11, 2017

The slightest touch of your fingertips, sends a thousand memories crawling up my skin, they've infested my mind and I'm afraid I must give in.

If you're waiting for the perfect timing, we might as well call it quits, I cannot wait forever, for a thing that does not exist.

Given the chance, I'd take advantage of any moment, even manipulate the grains of time, just to make you all of mine.

For your type of damage, I'm not equipped, I'd ask for a piece of heart, but I'm afraid you might haven't any left.

I just read two other of your latest pieces, including this one and I must say.. you have a way with words many wish they acquired. This is a truth many endeavor unfortunately but you project your words with pictures which can be difficult to capture. Excellently written and very well worded, as always. take care.

I think a lot of people can relate to having been caught in such a spiders web. I liked this very much but (just a suggestion) the last line for me stuck a little. "you might havent any left" didnt feel as if it fitted quite as well. It might work better as "you dont have any left or mightn't have any left"? Milly x
