Nostalgia

Tinted with rose
Are the memories of yore
From when I was young
Before life was a chore

Why does my head do that?
Can I only withstand
Limited disappointment
In my minds' wasteland

So it spares me by creating
Snapshots of the fun
The pre-pose row
All but forgotten

Unless of course I glance
At the scars that don't lie
A permanent reminder
Mocking my minds' eye

Who's the biggest or the best?
Battles fought so violently
The spiteful competition
Of sibling rivalry.

    Kitty, I don't know a sibling that hasn't gotten into it with one of their brothers or sister's. My brother and I almost came to blows over a tv show. He threatened to punch me and me being the youngest and a smart ass told him to go ahead, I would tell our mom when she got home. He knew the channel war was over and he was not the winner. Aside from all our differences my sister, brother, and I are extremely tight and have each other's backs.

    Me and my sister did not get along simple for the fact she could never do wrong.She was mamas princess
