What do you see

by Courtney Hough   Nov 28, 2017

You see the beauty in her?
Yeah, the world once did too.
Until her mind became her own,
And then her body.
Now she can’t see that beauty.
The compassion,
The love.
It’s all fading.
Like a distant memory.
She knows who she is,
But no one can accept it,
And for that she cannot accept this world.
Made to live in solace… until she returns home.
