by Mortal Utopia   Feb 11, 2018

Brick by brick, you decayed - like broken dreams
in a world too wide awake to remember;
among a horizon too far and vast to hear
the trickle of memories you once whispered
into prayers that fly on,
shining like ghosts unanswered,
into ashes that trace the wind back to oblivion.
