Portrait of Your Heart

by Mortal Utopia   Feb 13, 2018

Your songs, its melodies lining like silk
the darkness between rays upon rays of starlight,
are like an empty road that whispers all the way
to the beating and unbeating of your heart -

shining with a darkness
so beautiful in its crystal fragility,
with a voice that blooms and unblooms
in its blooming vulnerability -

so sing on, as you mould
(with the powerful shyness of water)
Time into untimely timelessness.
