'Hide and seek' of love

by Michael   Feb 14, 2018

I seek you in the woodland;
for you are the forest
circling me with the density of your beauty
shrouding the atmosphere with oxygen;
given by the roots of your lungs
I inhale a deep breath of your purity

fragrance melts a sweet scent of pine;
which trickles-
softly from your boughs
my lips moistened with your taste
for you are the air.

I seek you again in water
slaloming through your coolness;
as you run the waves of your hands
over my body

your magnetic charm ebb and flows
lifting my spirit,
playfully you roll me upon the shore
with a twilight-twinkle in your eye
for you are the moon, the stars and the ocean

you settle around me in
a mist of curiosity-
for you are the clouds.

I lose you for a moment-

but then you break through my intrigue
with the blue of your irises;
beaming a radiant smile across my heart
for you are the sun and sky.

I lay in the comfort of
your fertility,

you swathe me in velvet texture;
a tapestry of colourful scents
which stem from seeds
for you are the garden the flowers
and earth...

..you are the life of my love;
my imagination-
you are my world
hidden in nature,
but, I always

seek you.
