Petrichor

by P o e m e l o   Sep 16, 2018

Our misunderstandings rapidly evaporate
pressured by quarrels
condense to cloudy conciliation

- Imminent precipitation.

~

Though our rainbow no longer appear
Your scent lingers after the rain

I still love you...

I, too, have a poem titled Petrichor! Great minds think alike! The scent of the earth after it rains... inspiration at its finest.
I love your usage of the different stages of the water cycle to describe a relationship. Love has those stages... and unfortunately sometimes the heartache is what lingers.
    Overall, very nice poem.

A short yet very thought provoking piece which states no matter what this person has put you through you still love them but that's. Because you can't turn love off just like a switch, if only, eh?

Thats right Em, love has to be taken seriously. Given the fact that we go through some misunderstandings, its not the reason to cut off the tie :)
