Narrow Tracks

by Fig   Jan 8, 2006

This crazed out world is spinning, turning
Neon colors blurred with black
This sour rain-night whirling churning
And I'm careering down those tracks

Spinning sliding running tearing
Slipping skidding slewing daring
Death to open fire
Running down those narrow rails
For I will never tire

But pitching forward, against the grain
I'm dragged head first through bitter rain
My ears scream one more crazed refrain
Ear-piercing noise circles insane
And all I feel and see is pain
This is my everlasting bane
But pitching forward, against the grain
I'm dragged head first through bitter rain

Careering down those narrow tracks
Toward my lasting fate

Just daring death to open fire
For I will never ever tire
Of speeding skidding down those tracks
As narrow as black wire
