Life's just one big heartache

by Kirsty   Feb 20, 2006

A gentle warm breeze
With the sun shining bright
A loving mother and son
Out flying his kite
She'll watch with a smile
He had made her so proud
Completed her life
But soon a black cloud

A gust of strong wind
And the kite loses grip
Away from his safety
Across the road his toy skips
And he takes a step out
A small boy of just three
His best toy's rolling fast
Naive he can't see

That at such a fast speed
The monster seems not so far
His kiss meant for his mother
But now he's kissing the car
A scream from the wheels
As the beast tries to freeze
A cry from the mother
In a gentle warm breeze

Such a fatal moment
For a mother to spectate
His little shoe falls from the sky
To save him was too late
The mother cradles the boy
As her tears start to fall
The kite has flown off far
Just a car that took it all

A young life was lost
It slipped off with ease
Heartbreak for the mother
In a gentle warm breeze....
