Nocturnal Intimacy (Acrostic Alphabet Poem)

by HOLLY ARMER   Mar 27, 2006

Amazement echoes
beautifully with each
cascading tear
dreamily, haunting
each moment as
forever diminishes
grieving for the
hope that
I always see
just before dawn
knowing I'll
long for such
memories of
nocturnal intimacy
only you can
provide while
quietly watching
romance unfold as you
steal the kiss that
trembles gently
upon her lips
vanquishing desire
within your
xanthous mistress
yielding our vows in one
zealous act of infidelity

*An acrostic alphabet poem, is where each line begins with a letter of the alphabet consecutively.

Holly, after reading a variety of your work, i am really growing short of words to say how much your talent impresses me.

this one is remarkable, simply because it's emotions are just too powerful to ignore.

    well done, do keep writing.

You never cease to amaze me. I am always looking forward to reading what ever you put your mind to writing. I remember when you wrote only love poems. 4 lines to the stanza. 2nd and 4th line rhyming. You have really grown in your talent. Keep up the great work. love ya.
