It's taken some time for me to see
Just what there is to gain
I wasn't sure there'd ever be
A cure to all this pain

There is a glory to be found
In life with Jesus Christ
Finally stand on solid ground
Through him answers are precise

I'm asking now Lord save my soul
I'll wash these bloody hands
Take these tears and make me whole
I'll uphold your commands

I'm tired of this life of sin
Father, I want to walk with you
I'll pour out all the jack n' gin
Because I know you are true

My head is bowed, I'm on my knees
As I begin to pray
Jesus, Lord and Savior please
Save my life today

    Beautifly written...and as for the meaning behind it I haven't been this happy in a very long time! God hears prayers and answers them in his own good time! the road will still be hard and long...you'll still have burdens - all of us do (and ussually i'm amazed at how you carry on after all you've been through) but God is alway there for us to run to once we realize that we cant conquer it all ourselves.

    I'm sorry for my idiotic self righteousness. I'm just another lowlier then the dust sinner and my only hope is God. please forgive me.
