Can't Breathe

by MemoirsOfMe   Apr 25, 2006

Cant you see the look on my face?
So much pain, so much disgrace
All those many years
Crying all those invisible tears
All I want to know
That in the end my scars wont show
Im trying to make it through the rain
But there just is too much pain

Wont you ever understand the real me
The person I dream to be
Or is it just an illusion to my eyes
Leading me by another white lie

Cant breathe
Im under the surface
Nowhere left to turn
No more things to learn
I know what youre doing
Im under the surface
Cant breathe

Im out here in the darkness of the night
Waiting for that guiding light
Fighting waves in the deep sea
As everyone tries to demolish me
The hate for the world grows too strong
Im wondering if I waited too long
Im going under the surface too fast
How long will this life last?

Cant Breathe
Its just you and me
You cant turn away
You just wont stay
Revenge for all the pain
Remembering all that shame
Cant breathe

Im upside down
In this foolish town
Let me go
Before I get too low

Hey, I love this poem its excellent I gave it 5/5 although the last part ,
    "Im upside down
    In this foolish town
    Let me go
    Before I get too low"
came out of no where I didnt like that at all. it doesnt seem to fit with this poem. Its still a great one!
