Pixie Ha Ha

by Angie   Oct 29, 2006

Pixie Ha Ha

deep within the forest
there's magic everywhere
little pixies laugh and play
spreading fairy dust in the air

but beware the little pixie
with the twinkle in her eye
she'll cast a spell upon you
turn you into a fat fly

her name is Nellie Bligh
with wings of lavender and gold
red hair hangs down to her waist
and she is mighty bold

she once blew some fairy dust
in the face of Tommy McFee
he laughed when she said I Love You
so now he's an ugly flea

pixies are usually carefree
but never make them mad
cause once you cross a pixie
things are bound to get real bad

Thank you so much for writing this! This really made me smile and laugh, it was not only funny, it was silly, cheeky and childish all rolled into one.

The words fat fly just made me laugh - I do not know why they are so amusing, but they are.

I liked the flow to this, and the rhyme, it was not forced and felt really enjoyable to read. It is a poem you could read again and again, and it is a really therapeutic poem to cheer you up.

Well done, and thank you for making me smile.
