Dreams

When I close to my eyes to sleep
Ill imagine you sleeping by my side
And in my dream will jump upon a cloud
And hitch us a moonlit ride

We will travel through untold stars
That hangs so delicately within the sky
And then I kiss your sweetened lips
That leaves a bitter taste of July.

Floating gently down into Candy Mountain
Will meet up with Charlie the unicorn
Who upon his lower body a scar
Is so horribly adorn

While he is sleeping, we will have a picnic
Filled with wonderful candy sweets
And afterwords will have taste of passion
Twisting together in these blissful sheets

Whispers of love will fill the corridor of our heads
Blocking out any other sensible thoughts
Entangling our bodies and souls
Until within true love we are caught

This is just one of many dreams
I'll have as I begin to sleep tonight
But truth be utmost told, I'd rather have you
To hold throughout this miserable night
