DECEMBER

by HaileyHelen   Feb 10, 2008

I hope my tears
Fall down upon you
So that all my fears
Can become yours too
All my pain
Can be washed away
I'll never remember
Why I felt this way
Cried through December
But decided to stay
Wonder, why'd I listen to the rain fall
Waiting for your call
Wishing for your voice
Seperated through them all
Listened to silent noise
Still as a doll
Watched as my tears streamed
Felt it all had to be a dream
The blood on my face
Never would be
Everything a discrace
Everything about me
No one could see
The truth known by me
The bruises would dissapear
All of my sorrow
Was never there
Just a dream before tomorrow
Another day in December
Looking back at me
I now understand
I now see
On my feet I shall land
I can just forget
Forget all of it

It's a good poem. Not your best, I think it could be broken up into stanzas. Some lines could be a bit longer, some are fine how they are. It needs work but it's a really good poem and you've definitely improved since Feb.

Good write, though. A different emotion that usual. Which was kind of nice.
