Regret And Hate

People think I'm bad,
But they dont know me at all.
They dont know the problems I have,
They cant see the writing on the wall.

My life is a mess,
It's filled with guilt.
I've tried my best,
But the life I have is the one I built.

I cant go back in time,
And change everything I didnt do right.
It's no one's fault but mine,
So there's no need to put up a fight.

I'm living a life of regret and hate,
I've tried my hardest to succeed.
But I've lost my hope and my faith,
On the inside I just cry and bleed.

There's nothing I can do,
Only feel pain and sorrow.
I have no one left to turn to,
I just pray things aren't worse tomorrow.

    Such sad lines but so beautifully written. The above is my favourite part, the image of crying and bleeding on the inside was really powerful. I also liked the way you ended, conveys an endless spiral of despair. That said, I hope you're not too down. Chin up ay?

    Aww, sad poem. :[ I hope you're okay if this is true. I'm here if you need to talk or anything. Anyways, back to the poem. I thought it was really heart felt. The flow was a little of, but that's okay. I think the raw emotion in it make up for the flow. Great job!

    I just loved the truth and reality you described here. It was real easy for many to relate to. All I would advise is to personalize the emotions more and make it more you. The descriptions seemed too simple for me but all in all I really enjoyed it. *5/5*
