Depression

Depression
It's really hard to beat,
to get rid of.
It grows through my veins
waiting to attack.

I used to be so happy,
But now I'm always down.
The only thing I do,
is put a smile upon my face
and hope no one notices.

Depression
I wish it would go away,
but it won't.
It sucks every happy moment
I wish to have.

My life is becoming meaningless.
I might as well end it,
but that might be a mistake.
Maybe things will change,
maybe I will get better.

I can't deal with problems,
so I cut
and now I have to live
with scars up and down my arms
because of depression.

I want to fight it,
but I can't.
I'm much too weak
so I think I will die.
Goodbye

    Well everybody can relate in this poem because everyone has experience depression in their lives. All I can say is... our life is like a tunnel sometimes we go to the 'darkness or sad part of our life' but in the end there's light. So never give up.

    Anyway I think that you've written this from your heart, well done.

    I have one suggestion.

    I used to be so happy.
    Now I'm always down.

    This poem is sad but please dont give up i was like u a month ago but then an old friend came back into my life and everything changed i still have bad days but i can see the light n i am going to be fine
    just hang on u will make it and everything will be fine but u completely give up u wont b, i believe u will be fine just try and stay positive
    the poem was very well written and well structured, i like the way u wrote it and the length was good it kept me reading and u really do have talent keep writing
