Leap Year

by pookiengurgi   Mar 11, 2008

So done with crying
But she won't let go
Afraid the time passing
Shows her the long road alone
She hates how this lasts
This pain, confusion, and unquiet thoughts
In a solitare room
She refuses to change
Worried she might make the worst mistake
Then her friend won't come back
Because nothing is the same
Reality reminds her that friend's forever gone
Died in a crash when that truck came on too strong
Helpless on her own
Paid the price of being too nice?
It's all a load of shit
So hard to deal with
She hates so much to cry
But
She refuses
To let go
