Reflection

Look at me and try to see
What my eyes are trying to say
Please understand that I'm not perfect
I make mistakes but please don't think I'm dumb

Please look at me and try to see
Every move, every word, please, it's not like what it seems
Stare deep inside my wide brown eyes
Stop telling those painful lies

I'm tired to pretend that I'm always fine..
Please look at me and try to see...
Every door I chose to go is closed
No one bothers to open it for me

I saw my reflection in those broken mirrors
Shattered into pieces like my broken heart
No one knows it's bleeding inside
Well, they only look on what's outside

Tonight as my tears stream drop by drop
I saw myself in those shattered glasses
Scattered everywhere like I lost everything
Now i don't know where to find all the missing piece...

This is really good, it's deep and makes you really think. I think I can relate in a way...wow!
There are some minor grammatical mistakes though- in the first line of the third stanza it should probably be 'I'm tired /of/' not 'I'm tired to' or you could say 'I'm too tired to'. Also you wrote commas instead of periods! Mirrors should be plural in the fourth stanza, the same is true for 'glass' in the fifth.
All things considered, this really was a great poem!

    Rock on!

    Toni!
