Summer (Huitain)

by Ingrid   Mar 23, 2008

Little white sails floating upon
a calm azure sea, clear blue skies
as far as the eye can see sun
reaches it's peak, a seagull cries
The breaking of waves..lullabies
as ancient as time itself bring
joy and peace after sad goodbyes
causing my heart once more to sing

A Huitain has 8 lines.

Each line has 8 syllables only.
Lines 1 and 3 should rhyme
Lines 2,4,5 and 7 should rhyme
Lines 6 and 8 should rhyme
