Absence

Feels like maybe we're running from something
Emotion that can't be tamed
Alone on our own
The choices we make make us
How do we hold on to mistakes?Regrets
In the absence of another, silence becomes tangible
All we know at the moment, is the pain we hold inside
Giving us reminders for the rest of our lives
Asking for help, get it and we turn away
Believeing we deserve what came our way
When taught one thing tomorrow
And something new yesterday
What are people supposed to believe?
Crazy thing is we hold on
Grab into the challenge of meaning
Talk nonsense
Leave the past behind us, but we bring it up in the future
So lost, too long
To find your way back you need to be strong
Reach out for help, nobody seems to hear
Roller coaster,up's and down's
Nobody can stop that you're puking your guts out
Life is nothing like a merry-go-round
Looking up doesn't mean you'll never fall down
Emotion will eventually show itself
Trickle like a creek, rush like a river,or blow around like a hurricane wind
Want to feel something?Reach for the end
But you don't know where to begin
