Kryptonite

So out of it
Losing control,Grasping hold
Of air, I run at night
To watch the stars and feel the moon washing into my soul
I may be weak and clairvoyant, but the secrets I keep
You were there, I was going crazy
You were the point
I was trying to make to myself
Real, blunt-straight to the point
Nobody cares there's cries all around us
Self-centered and alone
But sometimes I catch a glimpse of another light
Glowing in your eyes
I tried to find it, to help you out
But you got yourself
And the real me is out "on leave"
So why should I have anything to do with you?
In total denial, with no chance for trial
Going down, farther and farther
As broken dreams crumble to the ground
Sometimes things click, when it feels right
Giving up isn't my style
But this time I see no reason to fight
Too alike with nothing in common
Strange
Nobody knows us, lying to ourselves
But isn't that how the story always goes?
